2022

The University of Manitoba partnered up with OVA’s team to develop a VR rehabilitation simulation under the Active at Home program. Using StellarX, the virtual training employ tools to assign assistance and encourage autonomy, while boosting both physical and cognitive abilities. Through a three month program, patients are able to progress through easily accessible, sustained practice, while clinicians are able to obtain concrete analytics and to offer remote guidance.

Challenge

“VR is a groundbreaking tool for neurocognitive on-site and at-home rehabilitation. Patients, clinicians, and the research community will all benefit from this technology.”
